StartUp Weekend: Mega Edition

Want to take your idea of the role? So the opportunity is in the version of Startup Weekend BH (SWBH). But this time is not only a weekend, but a MEGA edition. The event, which has the support of the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Higher Education of Minas Gerais (Sedectes), takes place between 16 and 18 December at the Mineirao stadium (Yes, inside the Football World Cup Stadium). It will be 54 hours in which the participants will experience the life of a startup.

This edition of SWBH will be the largest in South America and will have five themes:

smart cities
Creative economy
Education
Fintech
Biotech

Last edition of Startup Weekend took place on SEED and had the startup Food Saved as the winner. The purpose of the event is to have participants sharing their startup ideas and receiving feedback. Teams will be formed around the best proposals. During the three-day event, aspiring entrepreneurs will be immersed in a creative business models environment, programming, design and market validation. After this process, the projects will be presented to successful entrepreneurs.
