NAVAL CLUSTER FAIR 2015 – South of Brazil (Port of Rio Grande)

The first Naval Cluster Fair/RS [its 4th edition will be on 20-23 October 2015] arose from Petrobras’ growing demand for Supply Vessels Platforms and Oil Tankers and the resumption of shipbuilding. As a result, an event was created with the goal of discussing and promoting the challenges, innovations and opportunities in the oceanic industry, through lectures, workshops, conferences, business meetings and an exhibition area. The Naval Cluster Fair 2015 is aimed at the development of new business in the productive chain of the Naval/Offshore industry, promoting meetings between system administrators (the majority being medium and small companies) and leading shipyards; in its 2014 edition the event congregated over 250 exhibitors and generated over BRL 8 million in business. The event is organised by SEBRAE/RS [small and medium companies] with the support of the Rio Grande do Sul Federation of Industry (FIERGS), Rede Petro, the Superintendence of the Port of Rio Grande, the municipality of Rio Grande and Petrobras.
