Innovation Network Brazil | Visit to Minas Gerais

NBSO Belo Horizonte has a long standing cooperation with the Innovation Network Brazil (IAN) located at the Consulate General in São Paulo. Every six weeks we have a video conference where we discuss recent developments in Minas Gerais, hear from developments in São Paulo and define potential areas of cooperation and joint actions. In order to further strengthen this cooperation NBSO Belo Horizonte prepared a scoping visit for the Counsellor for Science, Technology & Innovation, Ms. Petra Smits, and her team.

The purpose of this visit to Minas Gerais was to see which organizations IAN could cooperate with or strengthen cooperation, as well as identifying potential new cooperation partners for IAN.  Therefore, a rich and broad agenda was proposed, which included meetings with important stakeholders, as well as technical visits to important institutions in Minas Gerais from both the public and the private sector.
