International Innovation and Tech Fair

2016 is being a very creative year for Minas Gerais’ entrepreneurs, one would say. As many technological events have already taken place in the capital city of Belo Horizonte promoting innovative ideas and new solutions for daily issues.

StartUp Weekend and Creative Mornings are an example of the events that promoted entrepreneurs aiming to develop new businesses mostly on a co-working environment.

However, after Belo Horizonte has been considered a key hub for technology-based companies in Brazil (mainly since Google has opened its headquarters in the city), the state government, through its Science and Technology Secretariat, on the pursuit of promoting the segment, will hold in November the International Fair for Business, Technology and Innovation (FINIT).

For four days FINIT will host events such as the next Campus Party, DemoLatam and 100 Open StartUps. The idea is to create an environment for business development, networking and innovative solutions through seminars, pitchings and workshops.
